Tendinitis is inflammation of a tendon. Tendons attach muscle to bone. Poor posture, overuse, and repetitive use can be causes of tendinitis. Common examples on tendinitis include: tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, patellar tendinitis (below the knee cap), and rotator cuff tendinitis (in the shoulder).
