Tendinitis

Tendinitis is inflammation of a tendon. Tendons attach muscle to bone. Poor posture, overuse, and repetitive use can be causes of tendinitis. Common examples on tendinitis include: tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, patellar tendinitis (below the knee cap), and rotator cuff tendinitis (in the shoulder).

We treat tendinitis through chiropractic adjustments to rebalance and mobilize structures, stretching and mobilization techniques to lengthen contracted soft tissues, rehabilitation exercises to stretch and strengthen affected muscles, and high power laser therapy to reduce pain and inflammation when appropriate.
